Listen To What Our Clients Say About Floating
"WOW what an amazing experience!
I had my first float yesterday and I am still feeling the benefits of it. I slept like I haven't slept in a long time and actually achieved 8+ hours of SOUND sleep which is something I haven't had in a long time (and that was even after a nap in the tank!)
I was apprehensive at first, but as soon as I got in there, within minutes I had the light out the tank fully closed and just went with it.
All my troubles and stresses just disappeared in that tank, so much so, that I have actually booked in for another session this morning!
To me I felt like I was floating in outer space (without the stars, although I did suggest some glow in the dark stickers!) It was
surreal and peaceful and very zen.
The receptionist was just beautiful, her knowledge and lovely disposition added to the whole experience and ease of my first float.
Working in complaints all I hear is negativity day in day out. It's time to shed some positive energy out there and I will be recommending Inner Outer Health to all my friends and family."

"Thank you for keeping a good, positive, relaxing float location open for the public. Sometimes it’s hard to slow the mind down to be able to go into the silence and peace that lays deep with in us all. Keep up the good work ladies and your calm energy compliments the concept of sensory deprivation."

Change in mental outlook on life
"Floating has changed my life. I was hanging by a thread in life. I felt as though I was in a dark hole in life. Floating became a life out of this hole, it has become a tool. To live in a shitty world it helps me to cope with life and especially people I did not see much good in I went through a massive detox from it but I feel as though for the first time in my life I am connected in body mind and spirit. My sleep when I leave after floats is very deep and my dreams are so vivid. When I don’t float I don’t sleep as deep, life gets on top of me. This is my weekly holiday and counsellor!"
- Chel Williams
"To say using the Flotation tank has improved my general well being is a massive understatement. After using it regularly for the past few months the changes in my life have been huge, and I urge everyone to try it at least once. Three months into using the float tank I have already changed my diet, quit drinking, increased my creativity and generally have a more positive view on life itself. Amazing. I cant wait to see how I feel after 3 years!"
- Dave Haley
Posture
"Really great unique experience. Lovely way to relax and really tune in on what’s going on inside. While I was in the floatation tank I felt my whole body relax and straighten up, as if the body was finally in the right environment to do its own healing. The facility was great, explanations were clear and the whole thing was nothing short of amazing."
- Aline Schlueter
"One of the immediate benefits to me was an improvement in posture. I had intended to focus my thoughts on just a couple of private things, but found my mind wandering into places I had not been prepared for. This was a refreshing experience both mentally and physically"
- Omega Pott
Injuries
"Enjoyed my first (but not my last) floatation experience and had a truly relaxing time. Everyone who has any type of injuries or stress should definitely try the floatation tank."

back pain
"I have suffered from long term back/joint pain and undergone previous spinal and joint surgery. I have been fighting the pain barrier for many years. Since commencing treatment at Inner Outer Health, I was curious about floatation therapy and what it could do for me.
The experience in the floatation tank is like nothing I have ever experienced before. Experiencing weightlessness and no pain by floating is something I wish I had explored a long time ago. I have noticed I’m more relaxed, sleeping better, in less pain and my recovery between training sessions has improved immensely since I started floatation therapy.
I would recommend floatation therapy to anyone who suffers from joint/muscle aches and pains to give it a go and feel the difference it makes."

"My hurdle in life was a back injury that I have no idea how it come about. I just woke up one morning with lower back pain which just got worse as every day went by. It got to the point of constant pain pulsating down my left leg and total numbness in my toes affecting the way I walked and my quality of life.
After months of constant pain and seeking medical advice and MRI scans etc, I was quick to learn that I had a very serious prolapsed disk in my lower back, at the L5 - S1 region which was compressing the left S1 nerve root causing extreme pain. Surgery was recommended. Although surgery seemed like the only option, I could not be guaranteed success and with the odds given, I could even end up worse. I was not able to get my head around the fact that I could have such a risky operation and be told that it could get worse. So I came to my own conclusion that, although I am in a lot of pain there has to be an alternative to pain relief.
As most people suffering with any bone or joint pain would understand, pain can have a huge impact on ones quality of life.
It was the pain that had put me into this predicament but the pain was not the worst part. The worst part was what came with the pain, sleepless nights causing sleep deprivation, sick feelings from prescribed addictive pain killers, anxiety, mood swings, anger, constantly feeling down, worthless and zero motivation. This is just part of my suffering, and then I had the suffering of watching my loved ones feeling helpless and myself not being able to participate in normal every day activities. As an active, energetic young adult, I found it hard to come to terms with.
After trying many different alternative pain relief techniques such as, Physio, massage, acupuncture and hydrotherapy unsuccessfully, I was open to just about anything.
I clearly remember getting there, eager to get into this tank desperate for pain relief. After my quick shower, I slowly entered the tank closed the door and laid back in the epsom salt solution. For about 10 minutes feeling completely disappointed, my pain seemed to get worse, and then to my disbelief it completely disappeared. I remember thinking this is it, I have found what I have been looking for. That one hour in the tank had me in tears. It was the first time in months that I felt no pain at all. I did not want to leave the tank. Unfortunately my session did come to an end and it was time to leave. I clearly remember getting out the tank and feeling very little pain but not to the extent of what I normally felt and over the next couple of hours the pain just felt less. This feeling lasted about a week.
Driving home after my float session I did not feel tired or anxious, I felt motivated and my spirit was at a high. I couldn't help thinking if I could feel this good after one session, I wonder what it would be like if I used it regularly. I decided to research the product on the internet and see how something so simple could be so effective.
Although I do aggravate my back every now and then, my pain is at a level that I can easily manage. I no longer suffer from anxiety attacks, anger, sleep deprivation and am pleased to say that I have not touched another pain killer since. After seeing my specialist which was to be an appointment to discuss surgery, he was in disbelief that with such a serious prolapsed disk, I could manage my pain in such a simple way. His last words to me were if it works; just keep doing what you're doing. I also like to keep the x-rays as a reminder that surgery and drugs is not the answer to everything."

"First time in a floatation tank - nice and dark, no noise. Perfect feeling - relaxed and calm.
My main reason for using the floatation tank was for my lower back soreness. Floatation Therapy is helping with my back pain - both during and after the sessions.
The staff at Inner Outer Health are friendly , and explain everything you need to know about floatation tank sessions."

Stress Relief
"Using the floatation tank is probably the most relaxing and nurturing experience I have ever had. My stress and pain completely disappears and I am left feeling at peace with a deep knowing that I can handle it all...this is now my most effective & favourite therapy."

"I found the floatation therapy very relaxing once I settled into it. My nerves quickly went away once I was in the float tank. I felt relaxed and my back pain seemed to settle after my session. My skin felt smooth and I felt calmer than I have for months. I will definitely float again to see what other benefits happen."

Sleeping
"I initially started floating as I had been given a voucher by my husband and I had hopes it may help one or 2 medical conditions. Unfortunately it didn't help where I had expected it to but I got a wonderful 'side effect' I wasn't expecting! I can now get to sleep at night! Most nights now I can fall asleep in under 20 minutes, previously I would toss and turn for over an hour, not unusual trying to get to sleep for 2 hours. I had even reverted to over the counter medicine every few weeks to help me sleep I was so desperate. But after my third float I started to realise I was sleeping much better. Now when I start to have trouble sleeping I schedule another float and all goes back to normal :)
Floating is a wonderful experience, it's a time to escape the hectic world around and just to drift off and relax. When I have finished my float, the feeling immediately after is fantastic, I sit in the waiting area and slowly sip my water, just absorbing my own little world. It's like everything is still zooming along and I am in my own secret little cocoon without a worry in the world, life is truly bliss!!!
Making an appointment is also very easy, I normally book over the net, so even if it is midnight I can log on and find a time that suits my life and hectic schedule. As I am a regular floater I use one of the packages and save money.
I find Lena to be a very honourable, she runs her business very professionally to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of her clients and very importantly she shows a genuine interest in your experiences so she can further improve services. The facilities there are exceptionally clean and if I am not greeted by Lena on arrival Michelle is there to make me welcome and always has a lovely smile.
I will be a long time floater at Inner Outer Health. I can't praise it enough!

"Peter and I would like to say thank you for providing such a great experience that it is the Floatation Tank. We both enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere your facilities provide and how CLEAN and well presented everything is. We felt very welcome and EXTREMELY HAPPY after being inside the tank, an experience to repeat a million times. Thank you and I hope more people around Melbourne get the chance to visit you."

"I honestly did enjoy my experience in the flotation chamber. I do think I would do it again at some point, but next time I'd try 2 hours I'd think. I liked the idea of lying relaxed in a chamber devoid of light. I thought it would freak me out, but I found my fear wasn't warranted. I felt some relaxation in my body and some of my sore areas became soothed to an extent. I really liked just floating there and felt a bit more detached from my body (which is a light and pleasant feeling). It was a calming and relaxing experience. I think if I were to do it a few more times, I could probably experience some mental breakthroughs and higher states of mind. I do think it can provide a pathway to experience such higher states of consciousness.
I think you were very professional and have very good interpersonal skills. I would have no problem coming there again at some point, were I to do this again. I will recommend you to my friends and acquaintances. Thanks.

"Be prepared for a wonderfully relaxing experience. My joints were a little stiff - something I would attribute to the aging process!! After I exited the bath I no longer felt stiff. It is so surreal - your mind wanders and you totally unwind. It is a feeling I cannot describe. The water is so dense with salt (which is what keeps you afloat) that you cannot accidently "go under" and the water is a lovely temperature. When you alight from the floatation bath there is a shower available with shampoo/ conditioner/ bath gel. It is all catered for! You do not need to bring a thing except yourself! (And no my skin was not dry from the salt in the bath - it was surprisingly soft and my hair felt terrific). Good luck guys will be back there soon!

"I have tried this flotation tank and it's AMAZING you guys have to try it, it's great it's been nearly 2 days and i'm still relaxed, it’s fantastic."

Meditation
"My experience was awesome and I loved every part of it all the way from walking into the door. It was a big eye opener and since have become a lot less stressed over little things that would normally bug me and i can calm myself when I get frustrated. I've recommend to ALL of my friends and family but didn't tell them exactly what I experienced. I've started trying meditation and getting better as I go. I’ll be booking in again sometime soon and looking forward to going even further and deeper in the tank.
Thanks heaps"

"My float experience was extremely beneficial. I meditate a couple of times a week and found the float session heightened the success of subsequent sessions. I felt centered for the whole next day which I don't achieve with meditation alone.

"I found the floatation tank therapy extremely relaxing and a perfect addition to any meditation practice. I’ve recommended the therapy to several friends and definitely will float again. The staff were informative and friendly. The only problem I had was that I didn’t float for long enough!

Pain Relief
"Thank you for the opportunity to use your Floatation Tank experience. I found it restful. Time flew - my mind did not try to manage time. Created a calmness of body and brain. Experienced less pain both physically and mentally. I am finding an ongoing difference in my health and wellbeing and have only tried it once, so far. Thank you once again."
